We came to Clinton to visit family and had a wonderful stay. The Inn is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Wally is an amazing host. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed the fire pit. We also relaxed on the couches in the common room. The grab and go breakfast and coffee and juices are available all day which we appreciated. There was a bridal shower at the Inn on Saturday while we were out. We saw the set up and it was beautiful. The Inn is great for overnight but is also a great event space. I definitely recommend!

This place is really nice and accommodating. I love the way they have it decorated. It feels like you have gone back in time. My new brother in law and his family stayed here for his wedding to my sister. They really liked staying there and will do so again the next time they are in town and need somewhere to stay. I would recommend staying here above any other place in Clinton.

If there was an option to have more than five stars in each of rooms, service, location I would give a googolplex in stars! I can not say enough about our experience at Ashford Inn located in Clinton North Carolina. Wally is fast prompt and answers the phone or text every time you call or text him. The rooms are amazing. Very nice very clean very comfortable beds, amazing shower and bath facilities. The service that he provided again, is above my expectations location if you're trying to stay with Inn Clinton, North Carolina or somewhere close to it it's amazing location in a historical area. We had my father's memorial service from out of town there when we had the memorial service, and felt like we were in one of our family members.Wally treated us like we were his family. My fathers memorial service went off with out any issues! All that attended stated they felt like they were visiting in OUR FAMILY home! This meant the world to me. I don't have the older family that has the big house in Clinton any more but Wally made sure it was all taken care of. If you want a get away of need weddings, baby showers, memorials, EXT. Call Wally !!!

The Ashford inn is a beautiful, comfortable oasis while traveling through the area. The historic home and its guest rooms are impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. Proprietors Wally and Jessica are responsive and very welcoming. Breakfasts at the moment are “grab and go” offerings of fruit, yogurt and energy bars. Would love to see them return to a traditional hot breakfast. Also, while the inn’s location in charming little Clinton is a beautiful neighborhood, the street running by the house seems to be a favorite route for cars with loud (or no) mufflers. Thankfully all was quiet for the night and we slept very well.

My weekend stay at the Ashford Inn was a truly wonderful experience! The historic style house is beautifully decorated with period art which made you feel like you were being transported back in time. The living room couches were comfortable and there is also an adorable patio you can enjoy to sit outside, if weather permits. The four poster bed in the red room was extremely comfortable. The sheets were definitely high quality linens which provided two good nights of deep sleep. Wally was a great host! He was very responsive and the check in/check out process was a breeze. He is so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend The Ashford Inn if you plan to stay in Clinton, NC. You will definitely enjoy your stay!

The Ashford Inn is a fantastic place to stay. I felt like I was visiting my grandparents house, except there was beer! :) The check in was a breeze, Wally was attentive and friendly, and the House is beautiful! My room was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and I got a great nights sleep! I would recommend The Ashford Inn to anyone in Clinton, NC.

My wife and I spent New Year's Eve (and Day) here and couldn't have been happier. Highly recommend a stay here. The beauty of Clinton and its people had me pining for a longer stay.

Absolutely delightful experience. Incomparable amenities, a full kitchen, and beds that will let you sleep like a baby. The owners are fantastic, attentive, and helpful, and always welcoming. You can't go wrong with the Ashford Inn.

What a fantastic place. We had 10 people staying with us and it was perfect for all of us. It was so roomy and cozy . Our bed was so comfortable wishing I had the same one at home . Everything we needed was there and if we needed anything , stores are less than a block away. The property manager was easily accessible and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend .

Our family stayed at the Ashford Inn over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was the perfect visit. The Ashford has always been a family favorite and under the new host, Cora, it was again a wonderful experience. The rooms were immaculate; Cora was very responsive to any questions we had, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. Thanks for a wonderful visit. We look forward to our future stays at the Ashford.
